Three pillars of competitive MUN.
Research
Delegates conduct extensive research on their assigned country's policy, alliances, and position on international issues before every conference, building crucial analysis and critical thinking skills.
Public Speaking
Formal speeches, rebuttals, and floor debate in front of tens or hundreds of delegates trains members to speak and improvise with confidence and persuasive power.
Leadership
Model UN requires leading blocs, negotiating resolutions, and the ability to push other delegates toward a general consensus.
How AVMUN prepares its delegates.
Preparation is what separates competitive delegates from just participants. AVMUN has a structured training program that covers every stage of conference preparation from first-time orientation to advanced Crisis technique.
Every member is taught parliamentary procedure, position paper writing, and formal debate before attending their first conference.
